In order to avail yourself of the services offered by www.betontab.co.za and www.betontab.mobi (hereinafter referred to as Tab Online (Fixed Odds)) you must complete the online registration process. If you have an existing Tab Online account, you will have access to the services offered on Tab Online (Fixed Odds). It is the responsibility of every client to ensure that he/she complies with all applicable laws, regulations and rules with regards to gambling or otherwise.

Furthermore, clients must make themselves aware of all the rules and regulations affecting any event on which they wish to place a bet. Tab Online (Fixed Odds) reserves the right to amend these rules, regulations, terms and conditions at any time. Any such revision will be binding and effective immediately.

The Tab Online (Fixed Odds) Site contains a Tote betting component as well as a Fixed odds betting component. The Tote betting component is licensed by the Gauteng Gambling Board and is governed by the regulations of this body. The Fixed Odds component is licensed by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board and is governed by the regulations of the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.

Refund Policy

This refund policy relates to the refunding of bets matched by the Tab Online (Fixed odds) betting system (the system).

Upon registration all clients will be provided with a username and password, which will be required to place bets on the system.

All transactions conducted on the system under the username and password of the client shall be deemed to have been conducted by the client.

A bet shall only be regarded as being processed when recorded on the audit trail. The audit trail can be cross-referenced by a unique digital signature (ticket number) that will be issued to the client by TabOnline (Fixed Odds) in respect of each transaction processed by TabOnline (Fixed Odds).

Notwithstanding the contents of the audit trail, tickets generated and the matched bets report which normally deem proof of the transaction, Tab Online (Fixed Odds) reserves the right, at their discretion, to correct any obvious errors and to take any necessary steps to protect the interests of all Tab Online (Fixed Odds) clients. For example, if an event fails to be closed for betting at the correct time, Tab Online (Fixed Odds) reserves the right to void all bets matched after the actual start time. Clients however, may not cancel matched bets.

Insofar as clients wishing to withdraw credit balances not subject to any ongoing dispute from their accounts, Tab Online will deposit such funds directly into the client's bank account.

FICA Requirements

FICA regulations dictate that Tab Online must identify and validate all customers who open an account with through Tab Online.

Accordingly, you will be requested to provide documentary evidence of your identity and residence before you can place a bet with Tab Online or Tab Online (Fixed Odds).

More information regarding the FICA Act can be found at http://www.acts.co.za/fica or www.fic.gov.za. If you fail to comply with the FICA requirements Tab Online is obliged to refuse to accept that bet from you.

As a customer, you will need to provide the following documents to [email protected] in order to maintain the relationship:

1. A certified copy of your ID and contact details
2. A copy of your utility bill not older than 3 months, as proof of residence.
3. A copy of a bank statement, not older than 3months. This is to confirm your source of income as required by the FIC.

Account Withdrawls

To withdraw all or part of your funds select the ‘withdrawal’ option from your account.

If you have not supplied your account details, you will be prompted to do so.

If you have supplied your bank account details, you will be prompted to confirm or update the existing details.

Payments should reflect in your bank account within 2 to 3 days.

Bonus Conditions

Promotional Vouchers

Only winnings from free bets may be withdrawn as cash from your account.
A verification deposit will have to be made and wagered at least once through before a withdrawal originating from a no deposit bonus will be paid to you.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute arising between Tab Online (Fixed Odds) and a customer, including but not limited to disputes as to whether a particular trade has been matched or not, then the parties hereby agree that such dispute be settled by way of arbitration.

The parties further hereby agree that the forum for such arbitration shall be the offices of the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board situated at Seafare House, 68 Orange Street, Cape Town 8001, South Africa.

The parties further hereby agree that the Arbitrator shall be the Manager for Horse Racing and Betting of the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board or his nominee and that the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on the parties.

Where such dispute originates in another Province the Manager may, at his discretion refer said dispute to the relevant Provincial Licensing Authority.

Should a dispute be referred to arbitration, then Tab Online (Fixed Odds) shall not suspend the disputing customer’s ability to trade on the system pending the outcome of the arbitration. In such event however, the client shall only be entitled to trade on the system to a maximum potential liability equal to the difference between the amount of any trade/s which form the subject of a dispute and the value of the funds deposited by the disputing client with Tab Online (Fixed Odds).

Collection of winning bets

• If any winning amount payable by the holder of a bookmaker or totalisator operator licence in consequence of a bet is not collected within ninety (90) days of the date on which the outcome thereof was finally determined, such bet shall be payable at the discretion of the relevant licence holder, provided that any tax payable in respect of such a bet shall remain payable, irrespective of whether payment is effected or not.

Notice: “No more bets”

• no bets shall be accepted in respect of a horserace once such horserace has officially started, and
• all bets placed on a horserace after the official starting time thereof will be void.

Acceptance of Bets

In order to manage our liabilities, Tab Online reserves the right to suspend, close and notify any customer of duplicate accounts. Tab Online (Fixed Odds) further reserves the right to refuse the whole or part of any bet without offering any explanation.

Fees and Limits

• Should any bets be erroneously accepted above the limits below, these bets will be adjusted back to the limit at the same odds whether they are winning or losing bets. Your account will be journaled accordingly as well.
• Tab Online (Fixed Odds) reserves the right to negotiate individual limits that are above the default limits as per the table below. Further Tab Online (Fixed Odds) reserves the right to impose limits less than the default limits, as per the table below, on a customer, in line with its risk and management policies. Once such a negotiation or imposition has taken place, formal correspondence will be sent to the customer.

Multiple Bet Limits

1. The maximum daily winnings on any combination of fixed odds multiple bets is R500 000.
2. This maximum applies to any one Tab Online (Fixed Odds) customer, or group of customers if it can be conclusively proven that they have colluded to act together, backing the same combination of selections or series of bets at a range of any prices using different betting accounts. Should we prove that bets have been placed in this way, the total payment of all those bets combined will be limited to R500, 000. Where any customer for any reason has more than one account, the combined total taken on all his accounts will, in the same way, be subjected to the limit of a single account. That is, the maximum multiple bet limits per the table and the daily R500,000 limit will apply as a combined total for any customer regardless on the number of accounts that he or she may have.
3. Each individual fixed-odds multiple bet placed on the TabOnline (Fixed Odds) system has an associated maximum win amount limit. These limits are clearly displayed when building your multiple bet.

4. Maximum multiple bet win limit is R500,000 for all win multiple combinations and R15, 000 for all place multiple combinations.

Payout limits

Except for bets placed on the Tote or where a higher single win payout limit is expressly specified, the maximum win for any bet or group of bets placed by an Interbet client is limited to R500,000 during a 24 hour period. Irrespective of any combination of winning tickets no payout will exceed this amount under any circumstances.
